Question : Beneficiaries of AtmaNirbhar Bharat Relief Package and PM Garib Kalyan Yojana

a) the list of number of beneficiaries who have availed assistance under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat relief package, State-wise;
b) the total amount of assistance provided by the Government (sanctioned and availed) under various headings of the said scheme, State-wise along with the overall total assistance provided under AtmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan;
c) the list of number of beneficiaries who have availed assistance under the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana and PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana, State-wise; and
d) the total amount of assistance provided by the Government (sanctioned and availed) under various headings of the same and the overall assistance provided?

(a) to (b): Under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan various new Schemes/Programmes/policy measures were announced to make the country self-reliant and the Ministries/Department tasked to frame the schemes/programmes as per the announcements. The beneficiary oriented schemes under Atma Nirbhar Bharat were facility of supply of free food grain and pulses to migrants for 2 months and schemes relating to MSMEs i.e. Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme. A statement indicating State-wise benefits availed under the schemes is at Annexure-I. Further, the PM Street Vendor’s AatmaNirbhar Nidhi scheme has also been launched on 01.06.2020 to provide working capital loan of upto Rs.10,000/-, repayable in 12 monthly instalments, to street vendors whose business have been affected due to lockdown and who have been vending in urban areas on or before 24.03.2020. As on 10.09.2020, loans for 3.68 lakh street vendors have been approved, out of which loans have been disbursed to 99,000 beneficiaries.

(c) to (d): The Government had also announced a Rs 1.70 Lakh Crore relief under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana for the poor to help them fight the battle against Corona Virus, it includes benefits under Pradhan Mantri Anna Yojana. A total of INR 68,820 crores have been provided as cash transfers to eligible persons under various components of PMGKP as on 7.9.2020. So far 178.85 Lakh MT of foodgrains and 6.82 Lakh MT of pulses have been distributed free of cost to approximately 75 crores beneficiaries under NFSA and this scheme will continue till November 2020.
