(a) the name of schemes under which Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) are getting assistance;
(b) the details of funds given to NGOs during each of the last five years and as on date, scheme-wise;
(c) whether NGOs are functioning properly; and
(d) if not, the names thereof and the action taken by the Government against them?

(a) Ministry of Science & Technology extends budgetary support to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) under various schemes viz Technology Intervention for Addressing Societal Needs (TIASN), KIRAN- Knowledge Involvement in Research Advancement and Nurturing (including Science & Technology for Women), Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP), Tribal Sub Plan (TSP), State S&T Programme (SSTP), Science & Technology Communication and Popularization, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Biotech-based Programmes for Societal Upliftment, Technology Development & Utilization Programme for Women (TDUPW) and Fly Ash Unit.
(b) Details of funds given to NGOs during each of the last five years and as on date, scheme-wise are as follows:
