(a) to (e) Kanhan is a roadside station and is being served by 9 pairs of passenger trains. These are considered adequate for the existing level of traffic offering at the station. Stoppage of the Express trains at Kanhan has been examined and has neither been found commercially justified nor operationally feasible. However, the few passengers of Kanhan desirous of travelling by Express trains can do so with a changeover at Nagpur, which is 19 Kms away from Kanhan.
