(a) whether an airport has been constructed in Palia city of Lakhimpur district in Uttar Pradesh and if so, the details thereof along with the expenditure incurred thereon;
(b) the details of the amount spent on the maintenance of the said airport during the last three years and the current year; and
(c) whether the Government has any proposal to start flights from this airport to Delhi and Lucknow and if so, the details and the present status thereof?

(a) & (b) : The existing airstrip at Palia city of Lakhimpur district of Uttar Pradesh belongs to the State Government. No expenditure has been incurred by the Central Government / Airports Authority of India on the construction / maintenance of this airport.;
(c) : It is upto the airline operators to commence civil operations from / to specific places depending upon the traffic demand and commercial viability while complying with Route Dispersal Guidelines issued by the Government.;
