(a) whether the Government intends to sanction new watershed projects under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY — watershed component) for rainfed agricultural areas; and
(b) if so, the time by which the said projects are likely to be sanctioned?

(a& b) The Government is focusing on completion of projects sanctioned earlier. Presently, no new projects under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY - Watershed Development Component) are being sanctioned.
