Question : SATLUJ RIVER WATER DISPUTE

(a) whether the dispute among the States sharing the Satluj River Water is hotting up again;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government propose to hold a meeting of all the concerned States to settle the dispute amicably;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (e) As per available information, there is no dispute at present over Sutlej Waters among the States sharing the Sutlej river waters.
