(a) whether the Government propose to expand New Delhi and Hazarat Nizamuddin railway stations in view of the heavy traffic on these stations;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the time by which a final decision is likely to be taken in this regard?

(a) to (c) : Expansion of facilities at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin are sanctioned works. Additional terminal facilities are being constructed at these stations. The latest anticipated costs of the important works, outlays expected to end of 2001-02 and outlay proposed for 2002-03 are given below:-
