Question : EXPANSION OF STATIONS

(a) whether the Government propose to expand New Delhi and Hazarat Nizamuddin railway stations in view of the heavy traffic on these stations;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the time by which a final decision is likely to be taken in this regard?

(a) to (c) : Expansion of facilities at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin are sanctioned works. Additional terminal facilities are being constructed at these stations.
