(a) whether a two day workshop on unorganised sector (Labour)
was held recently at Bhopal which was addressed by renowned
economists and social scientists;
(b) if so, the details of the recommendations made by the
workshop; and
(c) the response of the Government thereon?

(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. A two-day Workshop on `The Unorganised
Sector in Madhya Pradesh` was organised by a Non-Governmental
Organisation, called the Institute for Human Development on 1-2nd
April, 2002 at Bhopal. As per the information received from the
Government of Madhya Pradesh, they have not yet formally received
the recommendations from the organisers of the Workshop.
