(a) whether the Government has sanctioned Rs. 441 crore for the construction of a Jetty for fishing at Uttan beach at Bhayander;
(b) if so, whether the said work is being carried out by the Fisheries Department of the State Government of Maharashtra;
(c) the details thereof including the nature of the works; and
(d) the time by which these works are likely to be started along with the reasons for delay?

(a) to (d): No, Sir. The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India has not sanctioned Rs.441 crore for construction of Jetty for fishing at Uttan beach at Bhayander.
However, the Department of Fisheries of Government of Maharashtra has informed that the work of construction of jetty for fishing at Uttan Patan and Uttan Bhatodi at Bhyander District is sanctioned for Rs.44 crore by the Government of Maharashtra under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) to carry out the works by the Department of Fisheries. The nature of works reported by the State Government includes providing of infrastructure facilities like construction of breakwater, boat yard, water supply arrangement and fixing solar light at the jetty. The Government of Maharashtra has informed that completion of pre-implementation processes such (i) necessary model studies, (ii) tendering processes, (iii) obtaining of CRZ Clearance and (iv) Model Code of Conduct on account of Lok Sabha Election 2019 are the main causes for delay in commencement of the project work.
