(a) whether the Government are aware that VHP is among several groups that have viewed to construct the Ram Temple on a disputed site where the Babri Mosque once stood as stated in the Pioneer dated 27th May, 2000;
(b) if so, the facts of the matter reported therein; and
(c) the latest stand of Governments on this issue?

(b) & (c): In compliance with the Supreme Court`s Judgement dated 24.10.1994 in the case of Dr. M. Ismail Faruqui etc. versus Union of India and others, relating to the Ram Janma Bhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, the Central Government, as a statutory receiver, is duty bound to maintain status-quo, as on 7.1.1993 in the disputed area.
