(a) whether the Government proposes to raise a new Group A service cadre-the Indian Skill Development Service to improve skill development administration in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(c) the time by which the service is likely to be introduced/started?
(a) to (c): Yes, Madam. It is proposed to form a Group A service cadre in the name of Indian Skill Development Service for Training Directorate of the Ministry. The cadre shall comprise of 3, 28, 120 & 112 posts at Senior Administrative Grade, Junior Administrative Grade, Senior Time Scale and Junior Time Scale level respectively.
