(a) whether any proposal to construct rail over bridge in
Dhaman village, district Amrawati and Sindhi Railway Station,
district Wardha, is pending;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the time by which the above proposal is likely to be implemented ?

(a) to (c) No, Sir. No works for construction of Road Over
Bridges on cost sharing basis are sanctioned at these
locations. However, a proposal for construction of a Road
Over Bridge on deposit basis near Dhamangaon station was
received from State Public Works Department in 1995 as the
State Govt. had shown its inability to close the level
crossing on completion of the Road Over Bridge. The latest
estimated cost for the work based on detailed soil
investigations, revised location and scope of work is approx.
Rs.378 lacs. However the State Govt. had deposited only
Rs.73.50 lacs in 1996 based on the preliminary estimate for
the bridge at earlier location. The work can be taken up
after the balance amount is deposited with the Railways.
