(a) whether the Government has any plan to implement “Bharatmala Pariyojana’’ in Kolar district of Karnataka and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether funds has been allocated and released for the same; and
(c) if so, the details of the roads identified for the same and work likely to be initiated on the same?

(a) to (c) The following projects stretches have been envisaged for development in Kolar district of Karnataka under Bharatmala Pariyojana:

(i) Bangalore – Chennai Greenfield Expressway passing through Kolar District starting Gangapura of Malur Taluk and ending at NG HulkurBangarpet Taluk 59.318
(ii) Greenfield project from Tamil Nadu/Karnataka Border – Hoskote section of NH-648 passing through Kolar District starting from Sampangere village and ending at Dommaluru village 8.6
The projects are awarded/funds are allocated based on the outcome of detailed project report / feasibility study. The work of detailed project report / feasibility study for aforesaid project stretches has been initiated.
