Question : FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO NGOs

(a) the details of the Government and Non-Government Organizations and agencies which have provided financial assistance under the centrally sponsored schemes for the development of Scheduled Tribes in Rajasthan during eh last one year and thereafter;

(b) whether irregularities regarding the misuse, misappropriation of the central fund by organizations/agencies have come to the notice of the Government during the last three years;

(c) if so, the details thereof, and

(d) the action taken/being taken by the Government against those organizations/agenceies?

(a) This financial assistance provided to the State Governments and Non-Governmental Organistaions for the development of Scheduled Tribes in the country including the State of Rajasthan under various schemes of the year 2003-04 is available in the Annual Report of the Ministry for the year 2003-04. The assistance provided during the current year is at annexure.
