(a) & (b) Yes, Sir. The districts in Karnataka included under Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP) are as under:-
1st Year : Bangalore City, Bangalore Urban 2nd Year : Bellary, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Chitradurga, Davangere, Raichur and Koppal. 3rd Year : Mandya
Rests of the districts are covered under National TB Control programme (NTCP). NTCP is integrated with primary health care services and administered by DTO/STO at district and State levels respectively. Under RNTCP, for increased supervision and monitoring, contractual staff like STS and STLS are engaged.
(c) & (d) Under RNTCP, grant is given to State/District TB Societies for implementation of programme in RNTCP districts. Besides, commodity grant in the form of drugs is also given for sputum positive cases in all other districts. For purchase of drugs for sputum negative cases in the districts, cash grant is given to States under NTCP.

(e) to (g) Additional funds can be allocated after a decision on additional coverage is taken. The State Government is submitting an Action Plan for expansion.
