(a) whether there is any centrally sponsored scheme regarding sports activities being run in Jharkhand ;
(b) if so, the details thereof ;
(c) the guidelines issued for the said scheme ; and
(d) the amount allocated under the said scheme during the last two years and the amount proposed to be allocated during the Tenth Five Year Plan ?

(a) to (d) : Under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes of
“Grants for Creation of Sports Infrastructure “ and “Grants
for Installation of Synthetic Playing Surfacesâ€, Central
assistance was provided till 31.3.2005 for creation of
sports facilities in accordance with the approved pattern
subject to the receipt of viable proposals from the state
governments. The Central assistance approved/released during
the Xth Plan till 31.3.2005 under the aforementioned
schemes for Jharkhand are given below:
