(a) the percentage of export from agro-based industries in the Country;
(b) the details of domestic consumption of their product in the Country;
(c) the contribution of each State particularly Maharashtra therein; and
(d) the details of business based on the lac and wood industries during the last three years indicating the contribution of Maharashtra therein?

(a): The estimated share of export under Agro and Rural
Industries in total export is 0.08% during 2001-02.
(b): The total domestic consumption in terms of sales value of
agro based industries during 2001-02 was Rs. 8383.49 crores.
(c): The State-wise contribution of domestic consumption of agro
based industry products in the country including Maharashtra is
given at Annexure-I.
(d): Data is not maintained centrally.
