Question : APPOINTMENTS ON COMPASSIONATE GROUNDS IN BANKS



(a) whether a large number of cases are pending with the nationalised banks for providing appointments on compassionate grounds to the dependents of the deceased persons ;

(b) if so, the details thereof bank-wise ; and

(c) by when a final decision in regard to these cases are likely to be taken ?

(a) : Some cases of providing appointments on compassionate grounds are pending in the nationalized banks. Mostly such cases remain pending due to non-submission of requisite information by the applicants as to the assets, liabilities, income etc.
