Question : Six-Eight Laning of NHs in Gujarat

(a) the details of existing National Highways including six lane and details of highways widened/converted into six/eight lane during the last three years in Gujarat;

(b) whether there is any proposal to widen NH No. 8-E and NH No. 8-D to six lane;

(c) if so, the details thereof; and

(d) the time by which the work on this project is likely to be started and completed along with the funds allocated for this purpose?

(a) The details are as per Annexure-A.

(b) to (d) There is no proposal to widen NH-8D to 6 lane. However, NH-8E is proposed to be widened from 2-lane to 4-lane as per details enclosed as Annexure-B
