Question : EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

(a) whether new employment opportunities would be available in the Railways as a result of introduction of new catering policy; and

(b) if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (b): As per the new Catering Policy, Railways seek to take over the management and supervision of catering activities on Indian Railways excluding premium outlets like food plaza, food courts and fast food units. For carrying out these activities, Railways are presently in the process of finalizing modalities.
