(a) the production and area under soyabean in the country, State-wise along with
the rank of India in the production of soyabean in the world;
(b) whether there are reports of distress sale of soyabean in various parts of the
country including Maharashtra;
(c) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(d) the remedial measures taken by the Government in this regard?
