be pleased to state the present status of various National Highways (NHs) development and widening projects in Karnataka, project-wise particularly four-laning project on Hospet-Chitradurga section of NH-13 and six-laning project on Chitradurga-Davangere section of NH-4?

At present, 2/4/6-laning, strengthening, improvement etc. works in the length of about 3,200 km have been started during the last 4 years and the current year in the State of Karnataka, out of which, length of about 2,000 km have been completed. Length of 117 km out of 120 km and 46.50 km out of 72.70 km has been completed in development/ upgradation to four-lane of Hospet –Chitradurga section of NH-50 (Old NH-13) and six-lane of Chitradurga – Davanagere Section of NH-48 (Old NH-4) projects respectively.
