(a) Whether the Government’s 2015 guidelines to make all the Government buildings accessible to disabled and elderly have been implemented;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the number of the Government buildings that have been made accessible after the formulation of the guidelines. State/UT-wise?

(a) to (d): The guidelines relating to making Government buildings accessible to disabled and elderly have been adopted for implementation. Central Public Works Department have made 811 Central Government buildings in different states/UTs under its maintenance, accessible to disabled and elderly. State/UT wise details are attached as ‘Annexure A’.
