(a): The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is implementing the following projects in Maharashtra:-
Khadi, Pottery, Lime, Match, Agarbatti, Handmade Paper, Shellac, Bamboo & Cane, Katha, Bee-keeping, Ghani oil, Palmgur, Pulses & Cereals Processing Industry, Fruit Processing, Fibre, Soap, Leather, Polymer, Bio-Gas, Carpentry & Blacksmithy, Aluminium, Electronics, Brass & Bell Metal, Polyvastra, Other Textile and Service Industries etc.
Performance of KVI during past 3 years in Maharashtra is as under:-

(b): The details of funds allocated/released and employment generated during the last three years are as per Annexure-A.

(d): The Action Plan proposed under KVIC`s Margin Money Scheme for the current financial year 2000-2001 in terms of employment generation with a State-wise break up including Maharashtra State is at Annexure-B. The proposal of the new projects in Maharashtra will be finalised by the KVIC during their annual budget discussions.
