(a) whether Shipping Corporation of India has decided to pay back the loan taken from the Union Government;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Union Government have also agreed to reimburse the extra amount above the market rate that SCI had to pay;
(d) if so, the extent to which it is likely to help the SCI?

(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): The Shipping Corporation of India has repaid the entire loan alongwith interest amounting to Rs.255.48 crore to the Government after necessary adjustment.
(c): Yes, Sir.
(d): This would help SCI to get their vessels released from Government mortgages.
