(a) the details of plantations done by the Government and private organizations during the last two years, State/UT-wise including Chhattisgarh;
(b) whether the Government has fixed any targets to encourage tree plantation in the country; and
(c) if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise?

(a) The progress of afforestation / tree plantation in the last two years by all agencies including Government, NGOs and private agencies, State/UT-wise including Chhattisgarh is given in Annexure-I.
(b)&(c) Annual afforestation / tree plantation targets are fixed by the Ministry to all States/UTs. The target of afforestation / tree planting conveyed to States/UTs for the year 2021-22 is given in Annexure-II.
