(a) whether the passengers are facing a lot of inconvenience and numerous accidents are taking place due to non-existence of any culvert at Namcom railway station in Ranchi;
(b) the reaction of the Government in this regard; and
(c) the efforts made by the Government to construct a culvert at the said railway station and the outcome thereof?

(a) to (c) Namcom is an ‘E’ category station. For enabling the passengers to cross the track, one Foot Over Bridge (FOB) connecting platform No.1, 2 & 3 is existing at Namcom Railway station. The provision of culvert across the track can be considered on Deposit term subject to State Government agree to bear the entire cost of construction and maintenance. No such proposal has been received so far from the State Government.
