(a) Even though the Ministry of Rural Development is implementing Schemes namely, Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY), Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana (SGRY), Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY), Accelerated Rural Water Supply Programme (ARWSP), Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Integrated Wastelands Development Programme (IWDP), Drought Prone Areas Programme (DPAP) and Desert Development Programme (DDP), which help in the upliftment of the rural people, there are no Schemes separately sponsored by the Prime Minister.
