(a) whether the construction work on National Highway (NH) between Chakradharpur to Bandgaon in Jharkhand is suspended;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the efforts made by the Government to re-start the work on closed national highway at the said block and the achievement made so far in this regard?

(a) to (c) The work on NH-75 Extension between Chakradharpur to Bandgaon is presently not suspended. However, the work was earlier suspended between 05.06.2013 to 13.01.2016, the period in which the contract agreement was terminated by the State Government of Jharkhand who is the implementing agency. After revocation of termination on 13.01.2016, work was resumed by the contractor and upto date physical progress is 54%.
