(a) the allocation of additional food grains recommended by the Ministry followed by the COVID19 Pandemic, from April 2020 to June 2021, month-wise and State-wise;
(b) whether the said allocation of food grains have been provided free of cost as part of relief measures by the Union Government to States; and

(a) to (c) : Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Govt of India has made additional allocation of foodgrains @ 5 kg per person per month free of cost for around 80 crore beneficiaries of all the 36 States/UTs covered under NFSA (Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) & Priority Households (PHH)) including those covered under Direct Benefit Transfer(DBT) for a period of 8 months i.e April-November, 2020 and again for a period of 7 months i.e May-November, 2021. Details of month-wise and State-wise allocation for April 2020 to June 2021 is placed at Annexure-I.
