The possibility of getting private funding for part of the work is being explored, with a view to expedite its completion. Earthwork has been completed and full ballast supply has been taken. Second hand Rails are being arranged from CR. The co-sharers have deposited their full shares. Papers for Land Acquisitions for New line potion from Rajula city to Pipavav have been submitted to State Govt. The formation and bridge work are in good progress. Track, signaling work etc. are to be done by an SPV consisting of Ministry of Railways and GPPL. NOU has been signed. Further follow up action is being taken. Target date is Dec.2002. Surender Nagar-Dharangadhara GC has been sanctioned as a material modification. Wankaner-Maliya 100.85 35 30 88.42 5.5 The work is in good progress. Miyana The first phase from Maliya Mayana to Navlakhi via Dahinsara has been completed and opened for traffic on 30.09.1999. Mega block for the project has started. Track linking has been completed.
