(a) Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) was launched during the year 2015-16. Funds released during 2015-16 & 2016-17 are given at Annexure.
(b) to (e) A Committee under the Chairmanship of Minister (Water Resources), Govt. of Chhattisgarh was constituted to look into the issues related to implementation of Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme (AIBP) under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY). The Committee reviewed the status of ongoing AIBP projects and identified Ninety-Nine (99) ongoing AIBP projects (along with phases) having irrigation potential of 76.03 lakh ha., for completion in phases up to December, 2019 in consultation with States. For completion of these projects in a mission mode, funding mechanism through NABARD has been approved by the Government for both Central as well as State share. A Mission has also been established for implementation of these 99 projects.
