(a) whether the Government has any plans for the development and expansion of Bhandara Road Railway Station of Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by which the said work is likely to be completed;
(c) whether the Government proposes to provide stoppage to Bilaspur Rajdhani and other trains at Bhandara Road Railway Station;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a)&(b) : Minimum Essential Amenities as well as desirable amenities as per norms have already been provided at this station. Bhandara Road station has also been developed as Adarsh station.
(c)to(e): Rajdhani Express services are premium class services with very limited stoppages enroute. Stoppage of 12441/12442 Bilaspur – New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Bhandara Road station is neither operationally feasible nor commercially justified. Besides, 3 pairs of express services provide connectivity for Delhi area to the passengers of Bhandara Road.
