(a) There is a target to cover all the eligible landholding farmers under Pradhan Manatri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme. It is a continuous and ongoing scheme, where farmer can get registered at any time. As on 03.03.2021, 1,09,88,399 number of farmer families have been benefitted under the Scheme in Maharashtra based on the corrected and validated data received. There is no state-wise allocation of funds under the PM-KISAN scheme. Funds are released based on the verified data of eligible beneficiaries received from the States.

(b) PM-KISAN is a continuous and ongoing Scheme, and as and when data of the eligible beneficiaries are received from the States, the requisite amount is transferred to the account of beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer. Therefore, the question of achieving the target is not applicable.

(d) The eligible beneficiaries are not deprived of the benefits of PM-KISAN as it is a continuous and ongoing Scheme, and as and when data of the eligible beneficiaries are received from the States, the requisite amount is transferred to the account of beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer.
(e) Yes, the process of registration of beneficiaries under the Scheme is a continuous process and ongoing process. Till date, 1,13,91,985 number of farmers are registered under the scheme in Maharashtra and the number keeps on changing as when new beneficiary is registered.
(f) There is no plan to increase direct income support under this Scheme at present.
