(a) whether the Government has any plan to scrap the Post Matric Scholarship scheme to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe students and if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(b) the details of amount disbursed under Post Matric Scholarship to State Governments during the last three years, State-wise?

(a): No Sir.
(b): The Post-Matric scholarship schemes for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe students are being implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Ministry of Tribal Affairs respectively. The details of amount disbursed by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment under Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students to State Governments during the last three years are attached at Annexure-I and amount disbursed by Ministry of Tribal Affairs for ST students to State Governments during the last three years are attached at Annexure-II.
