(a) whether the Government proposes to ban the use of plastic flags during national festival celebrations and other such occasions;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the fresh steps taken by the Government to ensure strict compliance of the flag code across the country?

(a) to (b) : There is no such proposal under consideration.
(c) : The Ministry of Home Affairs has recently issued advisory dated 09/01/2018 to the State Government/ UT Administration for strict compliance of the provisions contained in the “Flag code of India, 2002” and “The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971”
