Question : AIIMS LIKE INSTITUTIONS

(a) the time by which the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) like institutes being constructed in different parts of the country are likely to be operational;

(b) the number of departments in which Out Patient Department (OPD) has started functioning in various AIIMS including Patna and the time by which the OPD in remaining departments are likely to be operational;

(c) whether the pathological and radiological tests are being referred outside the AIIMS, Patna despite the facilities available inside itself and if so, the details thereof; and

(d) the corrective steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Government in this regard?

(a): AIIMS like Institutions at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh are operational with Indoor and Outdoor Patient Department services related to MBBS teaching. Three batches of MBBS stu- dents and two batches of B.Sc (Nursing) students are receiving education.

(b): Details of OPDs functioning at the six new AIIMS is as under:-
