(a): Yes, Madam. Approximately 15-20% of the kharif onion crop in Solapur, Satara
and Kolhapur districts of Maharashtra got partly damaged due to heavy and continuous
rains in last week of September.
(b): Only 10% of the total crop area of these districts was affected therefore not
much impact has been seen on onion prices.
