(a) whether the Union Government has recently convened a meeting with the officials of the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to discuss the issues related to new water projects, working of Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) and sharing of Krishna River Water etc.;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the details of the deliberations of the meeting and the steps being taken to resolve the problems between the States?

(a) to (c) A meeting was convened with the officials of the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on 21.01.2020 at New Delhi under the chairmanship of Secretary, Department of Water Resources, RD&GR, Ministry of Jal Shakti to discuss various issues of Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) and Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) including functioning of KRMB and GRMB, regulation of supply of water from projects and Jurisdiction of Boards.
