(a) the details of TV transmitters (low and high) in the country, State/UT-wise;
(b) whether the Government has initiated any plan for installation of TV transmitter in various States;
(c) if so, the details thereof State/UT-wise;
(d) whether any time limit has been fixed for this purpose; and

(a): The State/UT-wise details of Low Power Transmitters (LPTs) and High Power Transmitters (HPTs) under terrestrial TV network of Doordarshan are as per Annexure.
(b) to (e): Five new TV transmitters have been approved for installation, including four in J&K, and one in Ladakh.
