(a) whether the Airports Authority of India`s (AAI)
communication, navigation and surveillance wing is facing
acute shortage of staff;
(b) if so, the details thereof including the sanctioned and
the actual strength of staff and the reasons therefor; and
(c) the steps taken/being taken by the Government to fill up
the vacant posts?

(a) & (b): The Sanctioned posts in Communication, Navigation
and Surveillance (CNS) are 3249 and actual strenght is
2460.
(c): Airports Authority of India takes action for filling up
the vacant posts from time to time. During the last one year
a total of 675 posts have been filled by direct recruitment.
