Question : Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh

(a) whether the Government has established a centre for promotion and protection of
tribal languages in Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP);
(b) if so, the details thereof, and if not, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government has fixed a time frame for completing the construction of Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP) permanent campus;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b):The Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP) is a Statutory Autonomous institution established under Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2019 and governed by the concerned Act, Statutes and the Ordinance made under Central Universities Act, 2009. All administrative and Academic decisions are taken by the University itself with the approval of its statutory bodies such as Executive Council, Academic Council and Court etc.
(c) to (e):On the basis of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for establishment of new campus of Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP), Government of India has sanctioned Rs.420.00 crore for construction of permanent campus at Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh.
