Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS be pleased to state the details and the number of LPG cylinders provided free of cost under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana/Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana to provide relief from COVID-19 crisis, State-wise, particularly in Bijnore Parliamentary Constituency?

During Covid-19 pandemic, a Scheme for providing upto 3 (three) free of cost LPG refills to Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries was started for three months w.e.f. 01.04.2020 under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package (PMGKP). The Scheme was extended till September 30, 2020 and subsequently, till 31st December, 2020 for those beneficiaries who had been credited with the advance for buying refill, but could not buy the refill.
PMUY beneficiaries have availed 14.17 crore free refills under the Scheme, across the country; state-wise details are at Annexure. PMUY beneficiaries availed 12,23,409 free refills under PMGKP in Bijnore, Muzzaffarnagar and Meerut districts of Uttar Pradesh which form part of the Bijnore Parliamentary Constituency.
