Question : CANCELLATION OF FLIGHTS BY PRIVATE AIRLINES



(a) whether the Government is aware that there is an open violation of safety norms by the private airline companies in the name of cheap air travel;

(b) if so, whether the Government is also aware that these private airlines cancel their flights at any time without giving any reason;

(c) if so, the action being taken by the Government in this regard;

(d) whether the Government has received any memorandum from the Indian Air Travellers` Association; and

(e) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government thereon?
