Question : JOB RESERVATION FOR EX SERVICEMEN

(a) whether the Government are aware that a large number of vacancies reserved for ex-servicemen are shown “not utilised” by manipulation and merged in general pool; and

(b) if so, the steps being taken to ensure that this quota is made “non-surrenderable”, like the SC/ST quota, and non-filled vacancies be carried forward?

(a) & (b): No instance of vacancies reserved for ex-Servicemen being shown as ‘not utilised’ and then being merged in the general pool has come to the notice of the Government.
