(a)&(b) Sriharikota Range (SHAR), is the main launch center of ISRO with major activities of launch vehicle assembly and static test, range operations including launch, liquid storage and service and solid propellant space booster plant. Suitable augmentation/modernization of various facilities and restructuring of various activities needed for these programmes are done on a continuing basis. Based on programmatic requirements, the facilities available in Sriharikota Range (SHAR) are being expanded, including the construction of a Second Launch Pad, which is in progress.
