(a) whether the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched any project for 1000 MW power generation by installing rooftop solar panels;
(b) if so, the present status of the said project; and
(c) the locations where solar power panels are proposed to be installed in the country?

(a) to (c): Yes Madam. In order to install Grid Connected Solar Roof Top Systems on the roofs of buildings belonging to various Central Government Ministries and attached offices throughout the country, Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated 1000MW tender for solar power generation through roof tops.
