Question : Aamali Tiger Safari Project

(a) whether any proposal from the State Government of Rajasthan has been received regarding Aamali Tiger Safari Project in Tonk district, Rajasthan;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to accord sanction to Aamali Tiger Safari Project;
(d) if so, the details thereof and the time limit fixed for the same; and
(e) whether the Government has earmarked and released any funds for the project and if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b)Yes, the proposal entails setting up a Tiger Safari in buffer zone of the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve at a financial implication of Rs. 115 crores.

(c) & (d) No, the proposal has not been considered due to its financial implications.
