(a) whether cases of fake blood banks running in the country have come to the
notice of the Government;
(b) if so, the details of such cases reported during the last three years and the
current year so far, State/UT-wise; and
(c) the action taken proposed by the Government thereon?

(a) & (b): Yes. As per the reports received from DCG (I) and states,
8 cases of fake blood banks were reported in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar during the
last three year. Details of the same are annexed.
(c): The state government had lodged first information report (FIR) in
these cases and arrested the persons running these blood banks.
