(a) the number of Navodaya Vidyalayas set up inDelhi as on date;
(b) whether there is a provision to set up any Navodaya Vidyalaya in the North
Eastern Lok Sabha constituency of Delhi;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, whether it is possible to set up Navodaya Vidyalayas in the said area?

(a) 2 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have been set up at Mungeshpur
(North West District) and Jaffarpur Kalan (South West District) in Delhi.
(b) to (d): 7 more JNVs had been sanctioned in November, 2016 for the districts of
East Delhi, North East Delhi, West Delhi, North Delhi, South Delhi, South East Delhi
and Shahdara. The Government of NCT of Delhi has, however, not made available
the requisite extent of land and temporary accommodation for commencement of
these Vidyalayas.
